LinkedIn: Online networking
Probably the most well-known of all the online networks, LinkedIn
boasts a membership of over 20 million professionals from 150 different industries.
I doubt all of these are active, but LinkedIn’s tools for building a network and forming new connections is second-to-none.

Profit Club is another Nottingham-based network that meets at the Park Plaza Hotel, Maid Marian Way, Nottingham at 6pm once a month. There's no joining fee, no subscriptions and no industry restrictions.
